HAFU DESU CREATIVE is a cooperative studio telling stories from the in-between.
 We craft brand identities, docu-style content, and creative campaigns that center culture, climate, and community—shaped by those living at the intersection.

Our Story

 HAFU DESU, Japanese for “I’m half,” reflects our foundation in hybridity, identity, and in-betweenness. We tell stories from the margins — diasporic, mixed, and climate-vulnerable perspectives — and use creative work to build cultural infrastructure for a regenerative future.


Team & Collaborators

We lead from the margins, where complexity lives. Our hybridity – cultural, creative, spiritual –  isn’t something to resolve. It’s something to honor, explore, and design from.
